The Heroes Project at the Hellenic Society of Biomedical Technology Conference

We are thrilled to share some exciting news from the Heroes Project! Our esteemed associate, Alkinoos Athanasiou M.D, Ph.D., Vice President of ELEVIT, along with our Ph.D. Student, Konstantinos Mitsopoulos, our Research Associate, Niki Pandria Ph.D., and Prof. Panagiotis Bamidis, recently represented our research team at the prestigious Conference of the Hellenic Society of Biomedical Technology. The conference, themed “Biomedical Technology and Clinical Engineering: Recent Developments,” provided a remarkable platform to showcase our project’s groundbreaking work.

HEROES had the honor of sponsoring the Conference’s Workshops. As a supporting sponsor, our project played a vital role in promoting discussions and advancements and we are proud to have contributed to these important workshops through our ongoing research efforts.

One of the most rewarding aspects of attending the Conference was the opportunity to establish new connections and explore avenues for future research projects. Our representatives engaged in fruitful discussions with experts in various domains, including biomedical engineering, clinical research, and healthcare technology management. These interactions not only fostered a deep understanding of the current landscape but also sparked ideas for innovative research proposals that will further propel the Heroes Project’s impact in the field.
